Project O-Seal

Lead Engineer Oct 2025 – Present

A device that seals pipe leaks from the inside, repairing aging infrastructure without digging it up.

What it is

O-Seal is a model I designed and prototyped to stop pipe leakages from inside the pipe. Instead of excavating to reach a failure point, the device travels to the leak and seals it in place, cheaper, faster, and far less disruptive than conventional repair. You can see the project at oseal.co.

Where it's gone

  • Featured in the Right Here, Right Now Global Youth Climate Summit, sponsored by the University of Oxford.
  • Top 2% of teams worldwide in the Blue Ocean competition.

What I'm doing now

I'm collecting performance data on the model and writing a paper to present the broader idea of in-pipe repair, where it works, how it scales, and what it could mean for water systems that lose enormous volumes to undetected leaks.
